Stool is well built and comfortable, as a stool should be.

Awesome bench that holds my books. Fits perfect with the piano.

I love the piano but the set up was confusing because inside the piano box there was no instruction booklet. It is frustrating now that I don’t have the booklet because I don’t know what all the buttons are on the side of the piano. I need an instruction booklet

The bench looks very nice but I don't know if it will hold up. Seems like it may not be suitable for a heavy person.

Well, you will probably play around with placing the legs in the corner cuts a few times before you get the idea of how it goes together, and there are some slight cut inconsistencies in the pieces, but you will get it together, and you won't even notice those, and it actually looks pretty nice, like a much more expensive bench would. If you get the screws tightened correctly, and "walk" around the four points for the final tightening turns 3-4 good times, it will be rock solid. I cannot comment on the height adjustments, as I don't use that feature, but I have raised the seat, and i didn't really hear the "squeaks" and creaking that others mentioned in several reviews. Anyway, at the default lowest setting, on a painted concrete floor, it doesn't slide, sway, or move even a bit. When playing it is comfortable, and i can comment on the duet width, as i tested that with my daughter. We have a combined weight of 400+ and the bench didn't move when we sat down and during play. I think if you construct it correctly, weight isn't even a concern. I feel like it is worth the money.

I've had this bench for a few months and am very pleased with it. I had been worried that it would be a shiny pleather material which would look cheap and tacky, but it's not at all. I didn't know whether the buttons would be uncomfortable but they are fine. I hardly notice them even after prolonged use. The storage compartment is shallow, but that seems to be the case with all of these adjustable benches. Since this bench is duet-sized, you can fit two piano book stacks in side by side at about 1 1/4 inches high, which helps solve the storage issue. The lid holds open on its own with the hinge stays. The bench won't hold all of our piano books but its primary function is not for storage, it's comfort and height adjustability for playing at the keyboard. The bench height adjusts easily even while you're sitting on it. The only knock on this bench was that one of the interior corner edges of one of the legs had a nick taken out of it, exposing raw wood. Odd, given that it was factory-sealed. But I took a black sharpie to it and it's now undetectable. Easy to put together too. Would definitely buy this bench again.

Padded, adjustable height piano benches with a bit of storage can run several hundred dollars. While this one arrived with a couple of dinged legs resulting from some rough handling, the seller was responsive and once that was addressed we're pretty happy with the bench overall. TIP - if the bench creaks/squeaks a bit when raising, try a little bolt/white grease applied with a cotton swab on the moving parts underneath. This cured it for us.

So far, so good. I was a little leery buying an item with no reviews but I liked the price of this piano bench, which had a bit of extra width if I want to sit next to my child while she learns. The bench looks exactly like the photograph. The height adjustment is easy to use - just be sure to turn both handles (one on either side) simultaneously. Assembly was a matter of attaching the four legs and tightening with the included wrench. The storage space in the bench is pretty shallow but will hold a thin music book or maybe the manual for a digital piano.
